A magnificent hand made instrument that compares with the best pianos
in the World. Priced for quick inventory reduction; well under recommended
retail levels. Although not well know in America, Estonia Pianos
(since 1893) are well known in Europe.
Major Features
Include:
Solid Woods:
Naturally cured lumber is cured outside for more than ten years
then kiln-dried for thirty days until moisture level is below 5%.
Finish:
Ten coats of High Gloss Black Polyester is applied by modern Italian
finishing equipment.
Sound Board:
High resonance solid spruce from northern Russia.
Dampers:
Double pivoted dampers are installed for movement forward, backward,
and sideway capabilities. Results are exceptionally positive.
Grand Rim:
64 laminations of German birch hardwood, shaped on high pressure
presses.
Keybed:
Tongue and groove butcher block construction positively insures
against keybed warpage.
Top Lid:
Constructed by the most expensive butcher block method, thus eliminating
warpage. Unsightly brace boards are not used on Estonia top lids.
Bridges:
Estonia bridges are capped with northern hardwood from Finland.
None stronger can be found.
Pin Block:
Beechwood from Germany, known as Delignit, is used. This is the
world's finest.
Action:
World famous Renner from Germany.
Strings:
Roslau brand strings, made in Germany are used.
