NY Steinway Model A-I (6' 0") Ebony Polish, 88 note,
3 pedals
Serial Number 81756 - Full rich vintage Steinway
tone
Victorian Steinway Art Case - This case & leg
design provided the basis and inspiration for several
limited editions including the 2009 Henry Z. Steinway
&
the 150th Anniversary Limited Editions produced
in 2003
Excellent original ivory keytops
Rebuilt many years ago with new pinblock, strings,
pins, action,
repaired original soundboard, & case refinished
All original parts present - Double rubber casters
- In spite of it's age and time since the first
rebuild, it can be played
"as is" and rebuilt again later.
The
reason we are selling this classic Steinway for such
a low price is that we currently have several other
Victorian Steinway grands rebuilt and others are
being rebuilt. Since our inventory of rebuilt
Steinways is larger than normal we prefer to sell
this piano "as is"; it is still quite playable
but will need to be rebuilt sometime in the future
depending on the requirements of the player(s).

Price for this Piano $ 9,950.00

Tony Thomas is a nationally known pianist/organist/keyboardist,
currently based in Memphis. Although he has
performed and/or recorded in nearly every musical
genre (ranging from Country to Rock and even Grand
Opera!), he is known best as a Jazz artist. Improvisation
is his forte. He is a five-time winner of the
N.A.R.A.S (the “Grammy People”) Premier
Player Award for Keyboards and/or Piano and was inducted
recently into that organization’s Premier Player
Hall of Fame. He has recorded literally thousands
of commercial music tracks as well as cuts with Joe
Walsh, U2, Jimi Jamison (lead singer of the band “Survivor”),
and, most recently, an album of Standards with internationally
known Opera Star, Kallen Esperian. Tony has
performed with Al Jarreau, David Sanborn, Hank Crawford,
and the late Richard “Groove” Holmes. He
is also an accomplished piano technician with 30+
years experience. Questions or comments about Tony's
arrangements and available Cd's should be sent via
